The item detail page is organized into collapsible sections.


Basics

Field


Description


Title The name of your item. Displayed in catalog views, cards, and shared links.
SKU A unique identifier. Can be auto-generated based on your prefix and separator settings (Settings → Business). Click to copy.
Category The type of item (e.g., Art, Coins, Furniture). Determines which category-specific fields appear. Favorite categories are listed first.
Classification A freeform sub-grouping within the category (e.g., "Oil Painting" under Art).
Condition The item's physical state: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, or Poor.
Condition Details Additional notes about the item's condition.
Number of Items For lots or sets, the quantity included.

Description


Description A detailed, public-facing description. Appears on shared links and in PDF documents.
Notes Private notes visible only to you. Use for internal reminders, provenance research, deal notes, etc.

Location

Field


Description


Location Where the item is physically stored — select from locations you've created in Settings. (Pro+)
Location Details Additional detail about placement within a location (e.g., "Shelf 3, top row").

Acquisition

Field


Description


Purchase Price What you paid to acquire the item.
Date Purchased When you acquired or purchased the item.
Location Purchased Where you bought it (e.g., "Christie's New York").

Pricing

Field


Description


Retail Price Your asking or list price.
Trade Price Dealer-to-dealer price.
Insurance Value Appraised or insured value.
Appraisal Date When the item was last appraised.
Appraiser Who performed the appraisal.

Costs

Field

Description


Restoration Costs Amount spent on restoration or repair.
Other Costs Any additional costs (framing, shipping, etc.).
Cost Details Freeform notes about costs.

Consignment (Premium)

Field


Description


Consignor The customer who consigned the item.
Commission % The consignor's commission rate.
Terms Consignment agreement details.

Dimensions

Field


Description


Height, Width, Depth Physical measurements.
Diameter For round or cylindrical items.
Weight Item weight.

Dimensions display in your preferred measurement system (Imperial or Metric), configurable in Settings → General.
