Your first find: capture → identify → collect

The heart of Trésora is a simple loop: capture a photo, let Trésora identify it, and — if it's a keeper — add it to your items. Here's how it works from start to finish.

1. Capture it

Open the Snaps tab and take a photo of your item — or add one from your camera roll. That's a snap, and it's saved the moment you take it.

2. Let Trésora identify it

Trésora's AI takes a look and gives you its best read: what the item likely is, its category, some useful facts, and an estimated value range. You'll also get one-tap links to research it further on Google Images and eBay's sold listings – so you can do a deeper dive into the item's value on your own.

The AI won't always be perfect. You can correct the category now, and edit other details when you promote it to your items (see the next step).

3. Add it to your items

A snap can live in Snaps as long as you want. When you decide an item is worth keeping, promote it to your Items. Now it's a permanent thing you can track and organize — set its status (Spotted, on your Wishlist, or in your Collection), note its condition, record what you paid, and more.

Promoting removes the snap from the Snaps screen after items are promoted. Think of your snaps as a "to-do" list to organize when you find the time.

Where did you find it?

Any find can be tied to the place you spotted it — a shop, a yard sale, an online order, or a gift. That's what turns "where did I get this?" into an easy question to answer later. There's a whole section of this help center on shops and stops when you're ready. You'll come across some clever features as you use the app – like the app automatically suggesting shops that you visited on the day the item's photo was taken.
