Stop types: sales, events, online orders & gifts

Not every find comes from a shop. You can add sales and events as stops, which must have either a name or an address attached them. These can added to the Stop Tracker just like shop visits.

Stop types are the main way items get tagged with a source, but there are other options as well.

• Sales — yard, estate, garage, and moving sales. These have a location, so they can sit on your map and timeline.
• Events — fairs, flea markets, shows, and conferences. Also location-based.
• Online — an order from eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, Poshmark, Depop, Chairish, or anywhere else online.
• Gifts or Personal Sale— something someone gave you. You can note who it was from and the occasion.

Online orders, gifts, and personal sales are not considered stops, and can't be added to the Stop Tracker.
