Sharing an item via public link

From an item's detail page, open the share link dialog to create a public URL. Anyone with this link can view the item — no Tresora account or sign-in required.

The dialog lets you control exactly what appears on the shared page:


Contact information

Toggle which of your contact details are visible to viewers:

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address
  • Website
  • Profile picture

Contact details are pulled from your profile settings. Only toggled-on fields appear on the shared page.


Branding

Toggle Show business branding to display your company name and logo (set in Settings → Business) in a header on the shared page.


Price

Toggle Show price to include the item's retail price on the shared page. When off, no pricing information is shown.


Preview

A live preview on the right side of the dialog shows how your contact card will look to viewers based on your current toggle selections.


Save as default

Click Save as Default to remember your preferred toggle settings. The next time you share an item, the dialog opens with your saved preferences. The button is only active when your current settings differ from the saved defaults.


The share link appears at the bottom of the dialog. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard. A Preview link lets you open the public page in a new tab to see exactly what viewers will see.

The link is generated automatically each time you adjust the toggles — different settings produce different links.

What the public view shows

The shared page displays:

  • The item's photos and videos in a media carousel with thumbnail navigation
  • Image captions (if set)
  • Title and SKU
  • Condition badge
  • Retail price (if enabled in the share dialog)
  • Description
  • Dimensions and weight (if set)
  • Category-specific fields (e.g., Artist, Medium, Period)
  • Contact information (based on your toggle selections)
  • Business branding header (if enabled)
  • Your color scheme — the shared page uses your theme colors

Private fields — notes, purchase price, costs, consignment details, and sale information — are never shown on shared links.
