Who can see what: private, unlisted & public

Every time you share something, it has its own visibility setting — so you decide exactly how far it travels. There's no single global switch; it's per share, every time.

The three levels

  • Private — only you can see it.
  • Unlisted — anyone with the link can see it, but it isn't listed or discoverable anywhere. This is the default.
  • Public — visible and discoverable to others.

Sharing never broadcasts by default

Because new shares start as unlisted — and with the source shop hidden (next article) — sharing something never quietly makes your whole collection or your favorite haunts public. You go public only when you choose to.
