Tips and tricks

Pin your favorite categories

Go to Settings → Interface and mark your most-used categories as favorites. They appear at the top of every category selector and as shortcuts in the sidebar — saving clicks every day.

Use sidebar status shortcuts

Enable sidebar shortcuts for Wishlist, Sold, or Archived (in Settings → Interface) to jump directly to those views without opening the Catalog page and switching the filter.

Recently viewed on the Dashboard

The Dashboard shows your recently viewed items — a quick way to pick up where you left off without searching.

SKU auto-generation

Set up a SKU prefix and separator in Settings → General → Business. New items automatically get a sequential SKU (e.g., "ART-001", "ART-002"), so you never have to type them manually.

Copy mode for field values

On the item detail page, activate Copy Mode using the toggle in the specifications section. When active, click any field value to copy it to your clipboard — useful when referencing items in emails or invoices. The item title also has a dedicated copy icon.

Mobile upload for speed

When cataloging a room full of items, open each item on your computer and use the QR mobile upload to snap photos with your phone. It's the fastest way to photograph inventory in bulk.

Use templates for repetitive items

If you frequently catalog similar items (e.g., same category, classification, or category-specific fields), create a template once and select it during item creation. It pre-fills everything except the unique details.

Filter, then bulk edit

Need to change the location of all items in a category? Use Advanced Search to filter down to exactly those items, select them using the checkboxes, then click Bulk Edit in the toolbar to update them all at once.
